Privacy Policy
We built NeuroWave to help you focus, sleep, and think clearly. The same care goes into how we handle your data.
Last updated: May 6, 2026
The short version
We collect the minimum data needed to make NeuroWave work: your account ID, your listening sessions, and basic analytics. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. You can delete your account at any time.
What we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we receive a stable user ID and (if you provide it) your name and email address. We use this to authenticate you and sync your sessions across devices.
Listening sessions
For each session you start, we record the mode, track, duration, completion rate, and an optional focus rating you provide. This is what powers your streaks, missions, and weekly cognitive insights.
Cognitive profile
Answers you give during onboarding (goals, work style, peak hours, neurotype screening) are stored against your account and used to personalize recommendations. You can clear this at any time in Profile → Settings.
Analytics events
We log basic usage events — screens viewed, buttons tapped, sessions completed — to understand which parts of the app are working and which need fixing. These events do not include the audio you played or any personal content.
Device information
iOS sends us your device model, OS version, and app version with crash reports and analytics events. We do not collect your IDFA (advertising identifier) and we do not fingerprint your device.
What we do not collect
- We do not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or calendar unless you explicitly grant permission for a specific feature.
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
- We do not collect health data unless you opt in to HealthKit integration.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
How we use your data
- Run the service. Authenticate you, sync sessions, deliver audio, manage your subscription.
- Personalize recommendations. Suggest tracks and modes based on your profile and listening history.
- Improve the product. Aggregate analytics tell us which features are valuable and which to remove.
- Send essential service messages. Account, billing, and security notifications. No marketing emails unless you opt in.
Where your data lives
NeuroWave uses Supabase for authentication, database, and storage. Subscriptions are managed via RevenueCat. Audio files are served from a private CDN with signed, short-lived URLs. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers above, and only as needed to operate NeuroWave. We may disclose data if required by law, by valid legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
Your rights
You can:
- Access your data — email us and we will send you a copy.
- Correct inaccurate data — most fields are editable in Profile → Settings.
- Delete your account and all associated data — Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or email us.
- Export your session history as JSON — email us.
- Withdraw consent for analytics — Profile → Settings → Privacy.

Children
NeuroWave is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated in-app before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
Subscriptions and refunds
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refund requests must go through Apple Support. We cannot issue refunds directly.
