Session Shield · free Chrome extension

Start a session on your iPhone. Distracting websites are blocked on your computer.

Install the free Neurowave extension for Chrome and sign in with the same account. Every time you start a focus session on your iPhone, the websites you chose are blocked on your computer — automatically, for as long as the session runs. When it ends, everything unblocks.

An iPhone running a Neurowave focus session, linked by a line of light to a MacBook where Chrome shows: Blocked during your focus session.

One session, every device

The apps blocked on your phone and the websites blocked in Chrome follow the same session. Nothing to start twice.

Honest numbers

Neurowave never invents “time saved”. The only thing ever counted is a breach you chose, and it lands on the same Focus Receipt as your phone session.

Private by design

Your list of blocked sites never leaves your browser. Only session start and stop cross the wire. Never your browsing.

How it works

  1. Install the extension and sign in

Same account as the iPhone app. Nothing else to set up.

  2. Pick the sites that steal your attention

Your list stays on your machine — it is never uploaded.

  3. Start a session on your iPhone

The sites you chose are blocked in Chrome for the length of the session. When it ends, they unblock.

One session, every screen

Install once. Every focus session you start on your iPhone blocks the distracting websites on your computer too.

Questions, answered plainly

Does it work without the iPhone app?
Not yet — it's the desktop half. Sessions start on your iPhone, and the extension keeps the same commitment in Chrome. A web-only mode is coming.
Can I just close Chrome to escape?
You can. Blocking is a commitment, not a cage — but reopening a blocked site shows the block screen again until your session ends.
What data do you see?
Session timestamps and chosen breaches. Never your browsing history, never your site list.
